I learned the specifics of course development and delivery through over 40 years of formal education, continuing education courses, and practical application. In the Roadmap course I share with you the specific process that I use to map out course delivery, teaching strategies that address varied student learning styles, and assessment strategies that identify the desired student transformation.

In this course, we will work closely together to ensure that you clearly understand the process and use this information to design a teaching roadmap that describes how you will address the learning needs of your students. This roadmap will be specific to your holistic practice and support the achievement of the student transformation you have identified. The group coaching sessions will provide direct access to the course facilitator’s expertise to help you clarify the details of your teaching success roadmap. At the end of 6 weeks you will walk away with a specific Holistic Teaching Success Roadmap for your course.

Let me introduce myself:

Hi, my name is Chery Ann Hoffmeyer and I have been a holistic practitioner since 1984 and have been teaching a variety of holistic courses since 1988. I was a post-secondary educator for over 40 years and love working with students to support their development of knowledge and skills to help others. I taught nursing students for over 27 years and for 13 years I was the Chair of and full-time Instructor in, a Holistic Health Practitioner program. In the Holistic program I taught students who wanted to work as holistic practitioners offering a variety of natural healing practices to their clients. I have a clinical nurse specialty in maternal-fetal nursing and have done qualitative and quantitative clinical research. My passion is supporting students learning in a heart-centered, compassionate way. I believe that working with students, in partnership, is the best strategy to support successful outcomes. The strategies that I have developed for teaching and supporting student learning over these 40+ years of practicing and teaching are distilled into a clear process for you to learn and use in developing your Holistic Teaching Success Roadmap.

In the Holistic Teaching Success Roadmap course you will…

  1. Create holistic education strategies that support the ‘whole’ learner.
  2. Define the transformation your learners will achieve.
  3. Identify teaching strategies that address different student learning styles.

The Holistic Teaching Success Roadmap course format includes:

  1. 6 Learning Modules – one module per week, 2 hours per module: foundational theory, dialogue, & practice
  2. Weekly activities: focused on development of your teaching roadmap with ongoing feedback
  3. Peer assessment: focused activities with peer feedback
  4. 3 Group Coaching Sessions: 2-3 hours per session, depending on the group’s needs; focused integration of weekly activities and feedback (peer & facilitator)

Course Fee:

The Holistic Teaching Success Roadmap course fee is $800. During this course you will have direct contact with the course facilitator, ongoing feedback as you develop your course roadmap, and three group coaching, integration sessions with the course facilitator. As a course, there will be ongoing development and ‘course correction’ to ensure that you achieve the transformation outlined for this course. Together we will make this course the ‘best’ that it can be, based on your ongoing feedback throughout the course including: what is working for you, what is challenging for you, and how your needs could best be addressed.
